Seattle: Pike Place Chowder

A trip to Seattle is never complete without paying a visit to Pike Place Market for some awesome chowder.

Pike Place Chowder in Post Alley serves up a large variety of chowders, and rolls--there's a vegan option as well. On most days, their line ups tend to be several feet long but the staff  oves pretty fkeep the lines moving pretty quickly.

The soups come in various sizes, and even in bread bowls.
Their Market Chowder (changes daily) had crab and oyster. There were several pieces of oyster and bits of crab in every spoonful. The chowder was creamy, but not too heavy and there was a nice spicy kick to it as well.
Their Strawberry Lemonade was quite tart and sweet, which ChiliPepper thoroughly enjoyed.
